General Information
Online Cakes & Bakes
All online cakes and bakes are made to order with a lead time of three working days (no orders will be processed on a Saturday or Sunday). Please be sure to consider this when placing your order.
Bespoke Cakes
Bespoke cakes have a starting price of £180 and generally require a 4-6 week lead time. Please contact us at hello@sugarboocakes.co.uk for a personalised quotation or complete the online form.
Collection or Delivery
Collection is from our studio in Shipton-Under-Wychwood, OX7 6XU.
Delivery is by prior arrangement only and may incur additional cost.
Opening Times
Our cake studio is not open to the general public and consultations are by appointment only. Please call or email to arrange.
Where can you purchase our bakes?
A wide selection of Sugarboo bakes can be purchased from our coffee shop, The Cotswold Lounge in Shipton-Under-Wychwood.
Allergies & Gluten Free
We try our best to accommodate customer requirements as much as possible, however please be aware that nuts and other allergens ARE used in our bakery.
Gluten free and dairy free options are available with certain bakes. Please enquire for more details.
If you have a severe intolerance or allergy, please enquire before placing an order.
Cake Tasting
We do not offer a cake tasting service, however, a wide variety of our bakes can be purchased and sampled at our coffee shop, The Cotswold Lounge.
Design & Style
Please take the time to peruse our online gallery and socials. We do not cover all cake styles and specialise in sugarpaste work.
Please note that we do offer buttercream cakes over two tiers.
Care Instructions
All bespoke cakes will be provided with a set of care instructions. It is very important that these instructions are adhered to (even if a venue advises otherwise) in order for your bespoke cake to remain in it's best condition.
Once your cake has been collected/delivered, we do not take any responsibility for it's stability or condition.
All our cakes keep well for up to 5 days, however, for maximum freshness and quality, we recommend consuming within 2-3 days.
Please keep your cakes and bakes away from extreme heat, cold and moisture. Always serve at room temperature and follow the care instructions provided.
Deposits & Refunds
All bespoke cakes require a 50% deposit at time of booking with the balance due two weeks before delivery/collection.
Deposits are non refundable, but can be used against a future commission with prior agreement.
Any items that are not collected will be kept for a maximum of three days. At this point we will deem the item unfit for consumption and dispose of it without refund.
Complaints
Although extremely rare, any complaints must be made in writing as soon as an issue is identified or within 24 hours, whichever is soonest. After this time complaints will not be accepted.
The item with which you have an issue, must be returned to us in it's entirety, including it's packaging, so that we can assess and make an informed decision.
Any products that have been mostly consumed will not be considered as having an issue.
